Reopening

Guidelines

We will be opening our church building starting SUNDAY, MAY 31st,  with several guidelines in place. Please read these carefully and let us know if you have any questions. The safety of our members is our top priority, and we understand if you do not feel comfortable attending in-person services yet. We ask that every individual would pray and ask for wisdom on what God would have them to do. We support your decision, whatever it may be. We look forward to being together again!

Service Schedule:

For the foreseeable future, we will hold in-person services for all our regular church services, except Sunday School. We will continue to livestream ALL services on Facebook Live in their entirety for those who wish to stay home. Our service schedule for the week will be the following:

           Sunday Morning Worship  10 AM

           Sunday Evening Worship    6 PM

           Wednesday Bible Study      7 PM

Coming on campus:

  1. First and foremost, anyone that has any signs of illness or is immune compromised should stay at home and watch our services online. We are very concerned about the health of individuals that attend our services and ask that each person adheres to these guidelines.

  2. We encourage all high-risk individuals (and/or caregivers of high-risk individuals) to stay home and utilize distance options to attend. Medical experts find those at highest risk for life-threatening illness from COVID-19 are:

• People 65 years and older;

• People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility; and

• People of all ages with underlying medical conditions.

 Underlying medical conditions include, but are not limited to:

• People with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma;

• People who have serious heart conditions;

Out of respect and safety of others, we also encourage you to not attend if you are exhibiting or have been in contact with an infected person who is exhibiting the following symptoms that have been associated with COVID-19:

• Fever;

• Cough;

• Shortness of breath;

• Chills;

• Repeated shaking;

• Muscle pain;

• Headache;

• Sore throat; or

• New loss of taste or smell or other neurological issue.

  1. We are asking everyone to practice safe social distancing guidelines. Please keep 6 feet apart from other individuals from other households.  Please refrain from greetings that include close contact. We know we love each other, but please no handshaking, high fiving, fist bumps, or hugging.

  2. You may, but are not required to, wear masks and/or gloves while attending our services.

  3. Please arrive to the services no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the service start time, the doors to the sanctuary will only be opened 15 minutes prior to all services.

  4. Please use the main entrance located at the round-about driveway for entry into the building. All other points of access will be locked.

  5. You will be met by one of our ushers who will direct you on where to go.

  6. Please allow an usher to assist you in finding a seat in one of the marked pews. You may sit with anyone that you are attending church with, such as extended family or a guest. Please sit on either end of the pew closest to the aisle. Also, please keep at least six feet apart between family units sitting on the same pew. Please do not leave seats empty between individuals in your group to provide enough space for others attending.

  7. Please refrain from fellowshipping in common areas such as the foyer. We recommend that you remain in your seat until services begin and conclude.

  8. Please ensure your children stay with you at all times. The nursery is currently not available. Parents are encouraged to utilize the "Cry Room" in the back of the auditorium if a child needs care. A TV in the room will be broadcasting the service for you to use.

  9. Please sanitize your hands using our sanitizing station as you enter the facility.

  10. We will not be handing out bulletins, visitor packets, prayer lists or any other handouts.

  11. We encourage all to use the restroom before coming to church. The reason being, we don’t have the necessary personnel to disinfect the restrooms between uses as directed by the Christian Law Association. The restrooms will be open, but please do your best to use them only in emergency cases.

During and after services:

  1. We will be singing in our services, but for now we will not be using our hymnals. The words will be on the screens.

  2. Our choir will not be singing.

  3. We will not have our normal offering during the service. The offering plates will be placed on the table in the foyer available for you to put your offering in before and after services. Please keep 6 feet between other individuals if waiting to give an offering.

  4. We will have an invitation, but during this time please practice social distancing. You are welcome to come pray at the altar, but please ensure you are at a safe distance from other individuals. You may also pray at your seat if you prefer.

  5. At the conclusion of our services the ushers will dismiss everyone by row. While exiting please practice safe social distancing.

  6. Please do not leave any personal items in the sanctuary.

  7. Please do not gather in groups in common areas or the parking lot.

  8. For your safety, the entire sanctuary and restrooms will be disinfected after service concludes to ensure adherence to the regulations and guidelines set in place by the CLA.
