You can't miss our building located at the corner of South 14th and Vine St - just east of McMurry University. Upon arrival, our greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. If you need a ride, transportation is available!
What to Expect
Visiting any church for the first time can be a challenging, unnerving experience. The question running through your mind is possibly, "What should I expect when I visit?" At Harvest, you can expect to be welcomed and greeted with a smile, no matter your background. In the end, we're all imperfect people living in perfect grace through Christ. We love people, and we want them all to know and experience the life-transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If you're not sure where to go when you attend our services, our greeters will be glad to assist you. Some common questions we receive can be found below. What's the morning schedule?
Our Sunday School classes are first at 9:30 AM with a short break at 10:20, followed by our main Morning Worship Service starting at 10:30 AM. Expect to be done around 11:30 AM.
Staff, greeters and other workers may be in their "Sunday Best," but our goal is to make you feel comfortable and welcome for your visit here.
What should I wear?
What should i expect in the morning worship service?
Our services generally begin with our song service where we invite you to join us in praising our Lord through timeless hymns accompanied by piano, organ, and our orchestra. You will also hear inspiring songs sung by our choir, groups, and soloists. Following the music portion of our services, expect to hear practical, biblical, challenging preaching from Pastor Roy. We invite you to join us at 9:30 AM for Sunday School for our small group setting where you will be able to fellowship and learn how to live out God's Word daily with people of a similar life stage. If you want to be fully immersed at Harvest, this is how we recommend you do so.
During each Sunday service, we have a well-staffed nursery where you may sign-in your child to stay while you can focus on hearing God's Word. We also have Sunday School classes for all ages where your child will learn from the Bible, create crafts, and have fun all in a protected environment with kids of like age. During our 10:30 AM worship service, children from ages 4 years old through the sixth grade get to enjoy our Junior Church hour where they get to sing, laugh, and learn valuable life lessons from God's Word.
what's available for my children?
Yes! We also have our Sunday Evening Worship (distinct from our Morning service) where you again will hear special music and practical preaching from God's Word. We also invite you to join us for our midweek service every Wednesday night at 7 PM. It's a special time we get to meet together, hear from God's Word, and place an emphasis on prayer.
